The Saturday Fun Machine of the 80s was the closest we got to the Cartoon Network or the Anime Channel when we were kids. The highlight of that day is the pre-cursor of Justice League Unlimited - Superfriends. My cousins and I would sit in front of the TV , which did not have a remote, came in wooden box, a rotary channel selector and still had the fine tuning knob. That made my week.

I still like superheroes now. I was thrilled when the Superman franchise was resurrected and the Batman, Spiderman, X-men movies came out.

PS: Despite my liking for these shows, I am still of the opinion that there are better entertainment and educational alternatives to TV viewing. 

There is a superhero inside of you. You may not be able to fly, run fast or have awesome tech gadgets or powers. You have your own strength. You just have to find it to be the Superhero that you are.
