It was only a few years ago that I discovered the power of asking (which I am doing right now). I used to consider in “unmanly” to ask for directions if I get lost. Asking for a discount was a major social taboo for me lest I’d be labeled as stingy. I would sweat out a problem on my own until I come up with a solution (which was not always the case, and often times wrong).
Now I ask for a discount and more often, I get one. I ask for directions and my manliness is still intact. I ask for help and people are just too happy to oblige. I ask and get answers.
I may not always get what I want. But if I don’t ask, I would still be in the same situation I was. Once you ask, there is always the possibility and the hope.
Like this. I am hoping for the possibility that you’ll share your question with me.
The Vision of MagandangBalita.com is to become a portal and repository of the good news and good things happened, are happening or will happen to Filipinos and the Philippines; a positive influence for us all. Can you help make this come true?
