Hummer

Toni, who won Best Home and Living Blog during the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards has her Happy Nest full of positivity and good things at the Inquirerbloggers.net pages… I hope more websites (and blogs) dedicated to having good news across the country and about the Philippines and Filipinos around the world would continue to emerge.

Though I was not able to attend (and even participate because of some schedule problems), Digital Filipino’s Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs was a success. Aileen, Dines (may utang ako sa iyo), Carl and the rest of them awardees as well as bloggers of all kinds were there. And Aileen is hinting of the biggest blogger gathering on August 23? I hope it is moved on any of these dates August 19, 20, 26 or 27 since these are non-working days.

Jayvee is spearheading a movement that is gathering steam, making it’s way to greater prominence, visibility and influence. Giving blogging a soul in more ways than one.

The OLPC Curriculum Jam Manila will be on October 5-7, 2007 and they need a location (maybe you WE can help)… (via Jayvee)

Switchfoot is coming to Manila on September 10. Get tickets from Jomar, Tina or Cathie and others

I know I’m still missing a lot here.

What else do you know?

Sites like yours should be on Page Rank 10 and Technorati Top 100. Wifely Steps and Happy Nest both.

Since we’re on the subject of Pinoys doing stuff, I heard that the new Intel logo was designed by a Filipino. :)

Thanks for the link love. On another note, we just started the Filipina Writing Project and I hope you can join.

Wow! That’s nice to know. Magaling talaga mga pinoy in terms of designs and graphics. Medyo kulang lang tayo sa budget ara magamit ng husto talents nila.
